Karim Benzema has been pitted by many to be the most underrated player in the history of Real Madrid, and every time he steps on the field, he shows us he is still a king in front of goal.

Last night, the French forward became the highest assist provider in Los Blancos history surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo with his perfectly weighted pass which was finished off by Lucas Vasquez.

His pass for Lucas Vazquez’s goal yesterday was his 133rd assist for Real Madrid – moving ahead of previous record holder Cristiano Ronaldo who is on 131.

Real were impressive 4-1 winners at Osasuna on Sunday.

The result sees Real now three points clear at the top of the table ahead of second placed Barcelona.

The 32-year-old Benzema sits on 22 goals in all competitions.
