Lobi Stars FC of Markudi attacking midfielder, Samuel Mathias has on behalf of his teammates apologized to their fans over the team’s inability to record a win in Wednesday’s home game in Aper Aku Stadium, against Enugu Rangers 1-1 spoil draw in the Nigeria Professional Football League Match rescheduled clash.
Speaking exclusively to Sportaccess.com.ng after the match, Mathias appealed to the fans to be patient, adding that the draw was not what the tram actually prepared for.
“I’m appealing to all our fans to be a little more patient with us over yesterday result, said Mathias.
“The draw we got was not the result we had prepared for, but some days are like that.
“In football, some days are quite good, while some other days, the story may not be that sweet, but we will surely get positive results from our subsequent games before first stanza of the league comes to end,” he concluded.
