NPFL: We’ll remain focused till the end – Plateau United Coach


Plateau United Coach Abdul Maikaba has said that winning the league is possible but his team must remain focused until the last day.

According to the former Akwa United coach, who spoke to , he is not being carried away by their latest victories but their focus is set on grabbing a continental ticket.

“I’m not being carried away by our latest results in the league but my ultimate goal is to give the people of Plateau State a continental ticket at the end of the season.

“I keep telling my boys it’s not over until it is finally over.

“My last two jobs with Akwa United and Kano Pillars have taught me to remain resolute until the final day.

“The position we are today in the league is not just my effort but a collective effort of the management, the players and the coaching crew.

“We have a difficult game this Sunday against Akwa United, a team with good character and great administrators. We are seriously preparing ahead of this game because we can’t afford to drop points away from home” Maikaba said.
