Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has been left stunned by the quality of Rangers teammate, Joe Aribo, following his display against Braga by 3-2 on Thursday night.
The Light Blues were 2-0 down after 59 minutes but Hagi, on 67 minutes, started a remarkable comeback when he beat the visitors’ goalkeeper Matheus with a terrific shot via the near post.
Joe Aribo then produced a moment of individual brilliance to level the score before Hagi’s deflected free-kick with eight minutes remaining sent Ibrox wild.
Aribo, was the inspiration behind the incredible win. Aribo eventually featured in midfield and further upfront as the Gers looked to tear down their Portuguese foes.
In the 74th minute, the super sub picked the ball up on the left flank, cut inside, and skipped past a host of Braga players before curling a low finish into the net.
The goal left everyone at the Ibrox gasping for air on Aribo, as fans also started chanting the Super Eagles prodigy.
“Joe is an amazing dude man. Playing three positions in less than 45 minutes”, Steven Gerard stated.
Aribo has featured 34 times in all competitions for Rangers, scoring five goals.
