Former Watford forward Odion Ighalo has been left off of Manchester United’s winter training camp in Spain.
The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations top scorer sealed a move to Theater Dreams on transfer deadline day last month and as a recautionary measure, he will remain in Manchester, where he will undergo a special fitness regime to get in shape.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirm that, due
to the current situation in China, it has been decided that new signing Ighalo will not travel to Spain as it is not guaranteed that he’d clear UK immigration on return should border restrictions tighten on travellers who’ve been in China within the past 14 days.
Ighalo will be staying in Manchester with a personal coach on individual programme and fitness and his family then can settle in England as well.
